GLOBALGAP (updated from EUREPGAP) certification is also called Global good agricultural practice, which is founded as the main reference for good agricultural practice in the world wide. GLOBALGAP certification transforms the requirement of agricultural products into production. And it's quickly recognized in many countries. Till August 2007, GLOBALGAP has covered 80 countries and over 80000 producers have been certified with the standard.
GLOBALGAP standard covers the whole process from seed to harvest for the certified products. As the origin of food supply chain, the safety of agricultural products is being paid more and more attention by consumers. In order to ensuring this food safety problem, many supermarket retailers in EU started to establish GAP system in agricultural production. The control system ranges the whole process from soil to table.

·Livestock (including cattle ,sheep, diary, pig and poultry)
Experts from SGS participated in the editing for the EUREPGAP standard in the beginning, and introducing the standard in 2002. SGS will dedicate to promote GLOBALGAP and standard training in all aspects to agricultural producers, exporters and manufacturers. By this way, they can reach the management level required by the standard. And at last, more and more Chinese food will enter international market smoothly.
